Time of Flight (ToF) Technology in Automatic Wall-Mounted Faucets and Soap Dispensers

One of these is Time of Flight (ToF) technology, which we have newly implemented in the SLU 42K and SLU 43 automatic wall-mounted faucets, as well as the SLZN 83E soap dispensers, including all their variants.

ToF technology measures the actual distance to an object based on the time it takes for a beam of light to reflect back to the sensor. This enables more accurate and reliable hand detection, faster response times, and reduces false activations caused by ambient lighting or reflective surfaces.

More precise activation improves the hygiene of touch-free operation while also helping to conserve water, soap, and energy. The new optical sensors therefore enhance both user comfort and operational efficiency.
